One of our more “Christian” episodes, this episode focuses on the teachings of Jesus with regard to how we view the future.  In a world (this sounds like a movie trailer all of a sudden!) where fear drives many decisions, we offer a contrasting view of taking the words of Jesus literally.

We hope this will be an encouragement to those who listen, especially those who may be fearful of their economic situation right now.

In this episode, we decided to talk about a subject that is very close to both of our hearts – marriage.  We share some thoughts about how we approach our marriage, with a desire to show others that the marriage relationship does not need to be a complicated one.

So much conventional wisdom (even teaching from Christian leaders) focuses on the idea that relationships, especially in marriage, are hard and complicated.  We question such teaching and offer our own simple perspective.

After taking a week off, we’re back to follow up on our last episode.  Listener Sid concluded his comment on the last episode with a question about the effects on society as a whole when people pull their children out of public school to homeschool.

In this episode, we start by responding to Sid’s thoughts, and then we meander through some other thoughts related to that.

It apparently was “really that simple” for a hacker to mess up our site (along with other sites that we host), and so we have been forced to migrate to a new server with a new host.  This will actually be a very positive move, and ironically was already in the works.  The recent hacking of our blog, however, forced an expedited move.

Everything appears to be working properly now, but if you run into any problems whatsoever on the new server, please let us know.
